Our Staff

Rodger and Angela planted and have pastored Greenleaf since 2007. Together they love and follow Jesus wherever he leads them. In 2009 their son Garrett was born and joined them for the ride. They’re both former junior and high school teachers. They both love reading. They both love television, which they recently canceled in order to do more of the reading.

Rodger also enjoys playing guitar, learning mandolin, listening to music, and fiddling with electronic devices. At Greenleaf he preaches, oversees outreach ministries, leads some worship, leads a small group, and sweeps the floor.

Angela loves dark chocolate and has the greenest thumb of any church planter in the Southeast. At Greenleaf she oversees all our small groups, the children’s ministry, the administrative side of things, and keeps the thousand little ends of the church tied together.

They live happily in the woods with their dog, cat, and offspring. These days they’re working hard at taking themselves less seriously and having as much fun as possible. Call them if you’d like to hang out and play The Office version of Clue or something!

Dottie Meyers is the worship leader and a founding member of Greenleaf. In addition to orchestrating the worship on Sunday mornings, she coordinates the worship team, facilitates other worship-related events, leads worship in Kids Church and home groups, and always lends a willing hand at various other odds and ends that need doing around Greenleaf.

Dottie and her husband Brook live in Durham with their two dogs, two goats, and Myrtle the Turtle. She works as a receptionist at a doctor’s office in Chapel Hill. She’s a lover of music, doing puzzles, world travel, and animals. She and Brook are pretty much the sweetest, most generous couple you will ever meet—if you don’t know them yet, you’re missing out!
