That’s right, folks, Greenleaf is about to turn 1! This Sunday, September 7th, we we be throwing a birthday party complete with gifts, music, food, etc. That is, we’ll be having a special service: for gifts we’ll be telling stories of what God has done in our lives in our time at Greenleaf; for music we’re having an all-request worship time of our favorite songs; and for food we’ll be having a potluck dinner, and of course, cake. Since it’s the first Sunday of the month we’ll also be celebrating Communion as part of our dinner. So come celebrate with us! Bring your friends!

If you’re visiting, we would love to have you come this week! It will be a really great time to get to know the church a little bit. And, don’t feel pressured to bring something for dinner–it’s on us!
